Trump threatens to strike Iranian power plants if an agreement is not reached

President Donald Trump said Tuesday that he will expand the scope of US strikes on Iran next week to include power plants and bridges if Tehran does not conclude an agreement. Trump said in an interview with Fox News, “Next week will be very bad for them because next week the power plants will be targeted. Next week the bridges will be targeted.”
He added, “We will destroy all their power stations. We will destroy all their bridges unless they return to the negotiating table.”
Trump’s statements came as US forces launched strikes on Iran for the fourth day in a row and reimposed a naval blockade on the country’s ports.
When asked how long the US strikes would take, Trump replied, “They will continue until I say that is enough.”
