المملكة: In various regions…processing 8,000 notes within a campaign "Distinctive, safe methods"
Declared processed about (8) thousand observations within the work of the sixth edition of the campaign ""Which was launched last February under the patronage of the Minister of Transport and Logistics and Chairman of the Authority’s Board of Directors, Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser. With the aim of surveying and evaluating the road network outside the urban area in various regions of the Kingdom.
The authority explained that the field teams monitored (12,157) observations since the launch of the campaign, of which (7,792) observations were completed, representing more than (64%) of the total, while the teams continue their intensive work to address (4,365) remaining observations, in a way that ensures raising the efficiency of roads and enhancing levels of traffic safety.
Distinctive, safe roads
This campaign comes as a qualitative step to achieve the objectives of the road sector program, by reaching the sixth rank globally in the road quality index, and reducing the death rate to less than (5) cases per (100) thousand people, which contributes to enhancing the quality of life, maintaining the sustainability of the infrastructure, and consolidating the Kingdom’s global leadership in network interconnection. Roads, according to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
