The Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police stresses the development of the transportation system and enhancing the readiness of support services
ABU DHABI, 18 JULY / WAM / His Excellency Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoun Al Muhairi, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, stressed the importance of continuing to develop the transportation system and concerns, improving the efficiency of support services, and employing the latest technologies and smart solutions, in order to enhance readiness and operational sustainability, and support the achievement of the strategic objectives of Abu Dhabi Police in providing pioneering police services.
This came during His Excellency’s visit to the Department of Transport and Workshops in the Finance and Services Sector, as part of his keenness to follow up on the progress of work, review the level of operational readiness, and enhance the efficiency of the logistical and technical support system, in a way that contributes to supporting the police work system.
His Excellency was briefed on the department’s tasks and competencies, the mechanisms for managing and operating the police vehicle fleet, the maintenance and technical services system, in addition to the efforts made to provide logistical support to various police units, in accordance with best practices and approved standards.
His Excellency listened to an explanation about the development initiatives and future projects implemented by the Department, and the mechanisms for raising the efficiency of resource use, which contributes to enhancing institutional performance and the quality of services provided, praising the efforts of the Department’s members and their vital role in supporting various police sectors and departments, and contributing to achieving the highest levels of operational readiness.
The visit was attended by Major General Mohammed Dhahi Al-Humairi, Director of the Finance and Services Sector, Brigadier Khaled Abdullah Al-Khouri, Director of the Decision-Making and Institutional Development Sector, Brigadier Mohammed Al-Buraik Al-Amri, Deputy Director of the Finance and Services Sector, and Brigadier Suhail Khalifa Al-Khaili, Director of the Transport and Workshops Department.
