The desire to leave Los Angeles is not a new idea, for Angelina Jolie, as she had previously spoken about it publicly, during several previous interviews, during which she explained that she was forced to stay in the city due to the circumstances of the divorce.

She said, at the time, that she resided in Los Angeles; Because she was “forced to do so due to divorce proceedings,” stressing that she would be able to leave; Once her youngest child reaches the age of eighteen.

Jolie had indicated that she plans to spend a large part of her time in Cambodia, a country that holds a special place in her heart, not only because it witnessed the beginnings of her humanitarian activity; But also because it is the home of her eldest son, Maddox, whom she adopted in 2002. She also confirmed that she would like to visit her family members, wherever they are around the world.

Over the past years, Angelina Jolie was keen to raise her children in an environment open to different cultures, as she accompanied them on many humanitarian trips and international visits, and was interested in informing them of world cultures and different civilizations.
