The Fujairah government launches an intensive training program for artificial intelligence for employees of government agencies
Fujairah, July 20 / WAM / The Fujairah government and SAP have launched an intensive training initiative focusing on artificial intelligence targeting employees of a number of government agencies in the emirate through the SAP Young Professionals Program in Fujairah, which constitutes a sustainable platform for talent development.
The program aims to provide participants with advanced capabilities in the fields of technology and artificial intelligence for business, in line with the long-term digital ambitions of the Emirate of Fujairah.
The first batch will begin its participation in the intensive, full-day training program, starting May 18. This initiative comes within the framework of efforts aimed at qualifying government competencies for the requirements of the future, and enabling the new generation of government sector leaders to acquire practical digital skills and internationally accredited technical certificates from SAP.
His Excellency Sheikh Engineer Mohammed bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Director General of the Fujairah Digital Government, stressed the importance of developing national competencies and empowering young cadres to possess advanced digital skills, noting that investing in national competencies is an essential pillar in the vision of the Emirate of Fujairah to build a government system that relies on technology and keeps pace with the requirements of the future.
He said that through this cooperation with SAP, employees in various government agencies gain practical experience in emerging technologies and artificial intelligence for business, which enhances the capabilities necessary to support innovation, raise operational efficiency, and develop future government services.
For his part, Marwan Zain Al-Din, CEO of SAP in the Emirates, praised the great attention paid by the Fujairah government to developing human resources and qualifying government competencies for the next stage of government services supported by artificial intelligence.
He said that programs of this type emphasize the importance of sustainable investment in developing skills, ensuring that employees in various government sectors are provided with the necessary capabilities to support the comprehensive digital vision of the Emirate of Fujairah, and to continue improving the level of services provided to the community.
The SAP Young Professionals Program is a global initiative to prepare competencies and qualify them for the labor market, combining technical training, personal skills development, and paths to obtaining accredited SAP certifications, which helps participants build specialized expertise in enterprise technologies.
The program contributed to supporting young talent across many countries and sectors, by enhancing the digital capabilities of institutions in areas including cloud technologies, data, analytics, and operational processes supported by artificial intelligence.
