Messi and Jamal do not deserve the Ballon d’Or

Former Portuguese player Luis Figo considered that the Spanish player Lamine Jamal and the Argentine Lionel Messi did not deserve to win the Ballon d’Or, favoring the Spanish player Rodri to win it.
Figgio told Betfair, according to the Spanish newspaper Marca: “Rodri had a great performance in the World Cup, and this may tip the balance in his favor.”
Figo, who won the Ballon d’Or in 2000, placed Frenchman Kylian Mbappe on the list of candidates to win the Ballon d’Or, saying: “Mbappe and his distinguished performance in the World Cup will also make him among the candidates to win the Ballon d’Or.”
He continued, saying: “I will definitely include some of the Paris Saint-Germain players who won the Champions League again. Perhaps I should especially mention Vitinha and Dowie, who had a wonderful season even though the World Cup was not successful for them.”
