Saw The Maltese capital Valletta today experienced a power outage, after a Electrical outages witnessed throughout the country during the past days.
These outages come at a time when the island located in the Mediterranean Sea bid farewell to a heat wave that lasted for five days, during which temperatures reached 42 degrees Celsius.
While on Saturday, the highest temperature for the month of July was recorded ever, reaching 43.3 degrees Celsius.
The government energy company reported "Enemalta" The power outage resulted from malfunctions in the distribution network, as a result of the significant rise in temperatures and the unprecedented increase in demand for electricity.
