"Emirates Libraries" Launches its new corporate identity


Sharjah, July 22 / WAM / The Emirates Library and Information Association launched its new corporate identity in a qualitative step that reflects its development process and future aspirations and keeps pace with its vision of strengthening its position as a leading national institution in supporting the library and information sector, disseminating knowledge, and establishing a culture of sustainable reading and learning.
The new logo takes its visual identity from books and knowledge, embodying the association’s mission to support education, culture, and intellectual development. It also symbolizes knowledge, identity, and progress, and reflects a deep-rooted culture that anticipates the future within the framework of a vision that is consistent with the rapid transformations taking place in the sector.
The colors used in the logo also reflect the colors of the flag of the United Arab Emirates, symbolizing national identity while maintaining a modern and elegant design that expresses the spirit of innovation and development, and embodies the values on which the association is based, most notably Emirati heritage, lifelong learning, cultural exchange, ambition and future vision, as well as excellence and cooperation.
Fahd Ali Al-Maamari, Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, said that the launch of the new corporate identity represents an important milestone in the Association’s journey and reflects its direction towards a new phase of institutional development and enhancing its presence at the local and international levels.
He added: We were keen for the new identity to express the association’s mission and its role in empowering knowledge, supporting the library and information sector, and promoting the culture of reading and scientific research, in line with the UAE’s vision of building a knowledge society and investing in people, and confirming its commitment to continuing to work with various partners to develop the sector and consolidate the position of libraries as centers of creativity, sustainable learning, and cultural exchange.
