Awareness workshops in the Family Village in Dubai to promote positive education and support family stability

Dubai, July 24 / WAM / The Family Village in Dubai, coinciding with the Year of the Family, organized awareness workshops aimed at spreading the culture of conscious parenting and enabling families and caregivers to adopt positive educational methods that contribute to building more stable family relationships and enhance children’s mental health and well-being.

The workshops addressed a number of main topics, including the concept of conscious parenting and its principles, understanding the child from within, and building safe relationships with children, in addition to providing practical applications that help participants employ conscious parenting skills in their daily lives. They also focused on the importance of building a relationship with the child before dealing with behavior, and enhancing mutual trust between parents and children.

Dr. Amina Bin Hammad, Director of the Family Village, confirmed that investing in families’ awareness represents one of the basic pillars of building a cohesive and sustainable society, noting that conscious education is not limited to directing the child’s behavior, but rather begins with understanding his psychological and emotional needs and building a relationship based on trust and respect.

She said that the Family Village seeks, through these awareness programs, to support families and provide them with the knowledge and skills that help them deal with the challenges of modern education and to enhance its role in providing a safe family environment that stimulates the growth of children. The family is the first environment in which the child’s conscience and personality are formed, and whenever parents possess the appropriate tools for communication and positive upbringing, this is reflected in the stability of the family and the quality of life of its members.
