Ankalaev and Guskov headline their matches "ufc" At an international evening tomorrow in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi, July 24 / WAM / Tomorrow, the Etihad Arena on Yas Island will host the UFC competitions, in the strongest mixed martial arts fights, headlined by the upcoming light heavyweight fight between former UFC champion Magomed Ankalaev and the strong fighter Bogdan Guskov.
The main fight, which consists of 5 rounds, brings together two fighters seeking to achieve impressive supremacy in one of the most powerful and competitive UFC categories, as Ankalaev returns to Abu Dhabi with the aim of confirming his position among the most prominent competitors in the light heavyweight division, while Guskov undergoes the biggest test of his career, to achieve an exceptional victory against one of the most prominent names in the category.
Guskov will participate in the fight as a replacement for Khalil Rountree Jr., who was a candidate to face Ankalaev before he was forced to withdraw from the event due to injury. The evening also includes a strong flyweight confrontation between Australian Steve Erceg and Uzbek Ramzan Timirov.
Erceg seeks to employ his experience and technical level against Timirov’s attacking force, in a fight that carries great importance for the career of fighters in the category, while the main fights witness a welterweight confrontation between Islam Dolatov and Wellington Turman, in addition to an also expected fight between undefeated fighters Magomed Zinokov and Damian Jebitsky in the light weight, and another in the heavy weight between Rizvan Konev and Tyrell Fortune.
The competitions will continue with the fight between Brazilian Walter Walker and American Thomas Petersen in the heavyweight division, Dustin Jacoby against Uran Satibaldiev in the light heavyweight division, Sam Patterson versus Santiago Ponzinibbio in the welterweight division, and Ismael Bonfim and Axel Sola in the lightweight division.
