After his success in Spider-Man, Tom Holland is betting on the character of Fred Astaire

 

British star Tom Holland is preparing to embark on one of the most ambitious artistic stages in his career, after starting his official preparations to embody the legend of dance and show Fred Astaire in a new biographical film, in a step he describes as the most demanding on the physical and artistic levels since the beginning of his career.

The project comes after Tom Holland finished his promotional tours for the films “The Odyssey” and “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” beginning a new phase in which he seeks to present more mature and complex characters, far from the roles that made his stardom over the past years.

Tom Holland confirmed that he has already begun the first training sessions for the film, indicating that he will devote all his time to developing his dancing skills as soon as his current commitments end, given the exceptional preparations the work requires to re-present one of the most prominent symbols of show cinema in the history of Hollywood.

Tom Holland admitted that he stayed away from dancing for years after that experience, considering that it was one of the biggest mistakes he made, but embodying the character of Fred Astaire gave him an opportunity to regain his old passion and revive the skills that accompanied him in his early days.
