Flydubai strengthens its operations in Italy by increasing its flights to Naples and Milan

Flydubai announced today the increase of its daily flights between Dubai and Naples, while it is preparing to increase the number of its flights to Milan-Bergamo, to become two flights daily as of July 31, which will enhance air connectivity with Italy and expand travel options within its European network.
With the increase in the number of flights, flydubai will serve the Italian market with two daily flights to Milan-Bergamo, daily flights to Naples, and three flights weekly to Catania, in addition to its summer seasonal flights to Olbia at a rate of two flights weekly until the end of August.
Due to scheduled maintenance work at Naples International Airport, the carrier will operate temporary daily flights from Dubai International Airport to Salerno Costa Damalfi and Cilento Airports, during the period from 1 to 30 November, and will resume its flights to Naples International Airport in early December.
Flydubai CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith said that Naples and Milan-Bergamo have become an essential part of the carrier’s network in Italy, and that its priority is to ensure the continued provision of convenient travel options for its customers, in line with its long-term commitment to enhancing air connectivity with destinations that suffer from a lack of services, and to support trade, tourism and the movement of people between the UAE and Italy, especially with the increasing demand for travel during the winter season.
For his part, Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations and E-Commerce at Flydubai, Jeyhun Effendi, said that enhancing the carrier’s direct services to Naples and Milan-Bergamo reflects its commitment to the importance of the Italian market, and its keenness to provide direct and smooth flights to the most prominent destinations in Italy and abroad, pointing out that “Flydubai” provides its passengers, through its operations center in Dubai, and by taking advantage of the shared network with Emirates Airlines, wider travel options to some of the most sought-after destinations around the world, with seamless connectivity. To Kenya, the Sultanate of Oman, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Zanzibar and many others.
As part of its continuous expansion, flydubai recently launched its flights to Aleppo in Syria, Bangkok in Thailand, and Benghazi in Libya, and is preparing to launch direct flights to Pokhara in Nepal, starting September 23, which will enhance air connectivity with the most prominent destinations in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
The Naples and Milan-Bergamo flights are operated within the codeshare agreement between Flydubai and Emirates Airlines, providing travelers with benefits including integrated travel itineraries, single-ticket booking, and the ability to carry luggage until the final destination.
