The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration meets with China’s envoy to the Middle East

 

 

 

Al-Taqi Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration,  "Chai Jun" China’s envoy to the Middle East and head of the Chinese delegation participating in the “Cairo Ministerial Conference to Strengthen the Humanitarian Response in Gaza.”

 

The Foreign Minister stressed the depth of bilateral relations between Egypt and China, especially since This year, the two countries celebrate the tenth anniversary of the launch of the “Comprehensive Strategic Partnership,” in addition to the momentum generated by the periodicity of high-level meetings between the two countries over the years. past. At the level of economic cooperation, Dr. Abdel-Ati valued the existing cooperation relations with Chinese companies and their participation in a number of major projects, stressing the Egyptian side’s keenness to increase the volume of investments and develop its cooperation with Chinese companies operating in Egypt.

On the other hand, Minister Abdel-Ati appreciated the participation of the Chinese envoy in the conference, and the official Chinese positions in support of the Palestinian issue, reviewing Egypt’s efforts to achieve a ceasefire and implement humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
