Major US stock indices closed mixed at the end of trading on Monday.
The Industrial Standard ended the trading session down by 128.56 points, or 0.3%, to reach 44,782.00 points.
The broader Standard & Poor’s 500 index increased 14.77 points, or 0.2%, to 6047.15 points.
The Nasdaq Composite Index for technology stocks added 185.78 points, or 1.0%, to reach 19,403.95 points.
