Tomorrow, the University of Dubai will host the Arab Universities Summit 2024
Dubai, December 3 / WAM / The University of Dubai, at the headquarters of the Dubai Chambers and the university’s headquarters in Dubai Academic City, will host the Arab Universities Summit 2024 on the 4th and 5th of this December.
The Arab Universities Summit 2024, organized by Times Higher Education and the University of Dubai, is a prominent academic event that aims to enhance cooperation between universities in the Arab region, exchange experiences, and explore best practices in the higher education sector.
This event constitutes a distinguished platform that brings together leaders of higher education from various parts of the Arab and international world. The summit’s themes include revealing the latest rankings of Arab universities, highlighting the performance of academic institutions in the region and launching a ranking of Arab universities for the year 2024.
The discussion sessions and workshops address: discussing key issues in higher education, such as innovation, scientific research, and strategies for improving the quality of education, and strengthening regional and international partnerships: highlighting opportunities for cooperation between Arab and international universities to support sustainable development goals and advance the academic sector.
The summit brings together university presidents, deans, prominent researchers, and decision-makers in higher education from various countries in the Arab world, in addition to representatives of international institutions interested in developing higher education in the region.
This summit is considered a unique opportunity to communicate with leaders in academic thought, learn about the latest trends and challenges in the higher education sector, and explore opportunities for cooperation in the fields of research, education, and institutional development.
His Excellency Dr. Issa Al Bastaki, President of the University of Dubai, expressed his welcome for holding the Arab Universities Summit at the University of Dubai and the headquarters of the Dubai Chambers, and for the guests of the summit, noting that the university is keen to organize and host major conferences in the fields that serve the UAE society, its development and prosperity, and contribute to the quality of education and the development of the fields of innovation and artificial intelligence. Promoting scientific research and harnessing modern technology and techniques to serve development programmes.
