Zurich, December 18, 2020 – FIFA announced that the UAE and Saudi Arabia teams shared third place in the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025, which concluded today, after stopping and then canceling the third-place match that brought them together, after the end of the first half, due to rain.

FIFA explained that the Men’s National Teams Committee, in accordance with the applicable regulations and the statute of the International Federation, decided to consider the match as ending in a goalless draw (0-0), and to give the two teams equal third place.

It was also decided to combine the total value of the financial prizes allocated for third and fourth places, and distribute them equally among the participating teams.
