The Emirates Arabian Horse Association organizes the Kurdistan Horse Camel Championship

ERBIL, 5 December / WAM / The Emirates Arabian Horse Association, in cooperation and partnership with the Erbil Equestrian Club, organized the Kurdistan Arabian Horse Camel Championship, which was held in the city of Erbil in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
The tournament activities, which were held this week at the Erbil Equestrian Club, witnessed strong competitions among the 64 participating horses.
The tournament was attended by His Excellency Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq, His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Al Harbi, Director General of the Emirates Arabian Horse Association, and a number of senior officials from the Council of Ministers in Kurdistan and the Erbil International Equestrian Club.
His Excellency Masrour Barzani presented a memorial shield for the prominent role of the Emirates Arabian Horse Association in supporting Arabian horses. It was received by Mohammed Al Harbi, who also presented a commemorative saddle from the association to His Excellency Masrour Barzani.
The association’s participation in the tournament included a team of referees for evaluation, arena referees, and members of the disciplinary committees, as well as a number of other technical cadres in various specializations in the tournament.
This support comes within the framework of ongoing cooperation between the Association and the Erbil Championship to improve Arabian horse show competitions, as participation aims to strengthen relations between the UAE and the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
