In pictures: The opening of the Zamalek Club Museum
The Board of Directors of the Zamalek Club opened the new museum of the White Castle, this evening, Saturday, which Hani Barzi, a member of the club’s Board of Directors, established at his own expense.
The following Hussein Labib, club president, engineer Hisham Nasr, vice president, Dr. Hossam Al-Mandouh, treasurer, and Hani Barzi, council member, cut the ribbon for the opening of the museum. All members of the council were present, with the exception of Ahmed Suleiman, who heads the football team delegation in Nigeria, and Muhammad Tariq, a member of the council who suffered a health crisis in recent days after his house was exposed to fire.
A board of directors was established. Zamalek Club invited many of the club’s senior figures who have served the entity throughout history, to attend the opening ceremony of the new museum inside the White Castle headquarters. At the head of the audience were Hazem Emam, a member of the Board of Directors of the Football Association and the star of Zamalek, Mahmoud Abu Rajila, Sami Al-Shishini, Ayman Abdel Aziz, Al-Mandouh Al-Husseini, former treasurer of Zamalek, Dr. Maggie Al-Halawani, wife of the late Hamada Emam, and Major General Imad Abdel Aziz, head of the former Zamalek Management Committee.
At the same time, Mahmoud Abdel Razek Shikabala, captain of the football team, and Omar Hisham, captain, were present. The basketball team, Mahmoud Al-Khawaja, the former Zamalek star, Mustafa Al-Ahmar, the former handball star, Maryam Esmat, the former volleyball star in Zamalek, Hassan Yousry, head of the Zamalek handball apparatus, Yasser Idris, head of the swimming federation, Ismail Selim, former vice president of Zamalek, and Mohamed Yahya, chairman of the board of directors. United Sports Company, Jamal Hamza, Hamada Abdel Latif, Hashhan Yakan, former football team stars, and Rehab Abourjila, member of the Board of Directors Previous.
The Zamalek Club Museum is scheduled to open its doors to the members of the General Assembly starting tomorrow, Sunday. The opening of the club’s new museum comes within the policy of the Board of Directors during the past period to develop and create many services that suit Zamalek members.
