Bahrain Islamic Bank is the first Bahraini bank to obtain the Artificial Intelligence Governance Certificate

Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB), the leading bank in providing Islamic digital banking solutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain, announced that it has achieved an important step in its commitment to the sustainable integration of artificial intelligence, through the bank’s Chief Information Security Officer, Mr. Mohammed Issa Hammad, obtaining the “Governance Professional” certificate. Certified Artificial Intelligence (AIGP)” from the International Association of Data Privacy Professionals (IAPP), making the bank the first Bahraini institution to have its members obtain this accreditation, and thus the bank’s Chief Information Security Officer will be the first.
