Without human casualties…a 4.9 magnitude earthquake strikes the southern Philippines

Today, an earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale struck Davao Occidental province in the southern Philippines.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology reported that the epicenter of the earthquake occurred 185 km from the Jose Abad Santos area in the province, and at a depth of 440 km.
There have been no reports so far of human casualties or material damage as a result of the earthquake.
