Abu Dhabi, December 11 / WAM / The “Spirit of Culture” exhibition was launched at the Khawla Art and Culture headquarters, which includes works by 12 Emirati artists in a distinguished artistic event that highlights the diversity and richness of the Emirati cultural heritage with contemporary touches that reflect the development of the cultural scene and the creative expression of Emirati artists.

The exhibition, which continues until December 22nd, combines traditional designs and modern artistic innovations, with each artist contributing his unique vision and perspective to form together an integrated artistic painting that combines different artistic styles and patterns that exude the spirit of the Emirates, and the artworks in which these creators participate do not only reflect heritage. The country’s rich cultural heritage offers innovative visions for a brighter future.

Her Highness Sheikha Khawla bint Ahmed Khalifa Al Suwaidi, wife of His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, expressed her

National Security Advisor, President of Khawla Arts and Culture, expressed her happiness at organizing the “Spirit of Culture” exhibition, which represents a true embodiment of Emirati creativity in its finest manifestations, noting that this exhibition is a unique opportunity to celebrate the talents of Emirati artists who embody, through their works, rich diversity. of Emirati heritage, with contemporary touches that highlight the development of our cultural and creative scene.
Her Highness Sheikha Khawla bint Ahmed Khalifa Al Suwaidi said: We at “Khawla Arts and Culture” believe that art is the language of interaction between generations and times, and that it is capable of conveying cultural messages from the past to the future, and through this exhibition, we are celebrating not only the beauty of the arts and creativity. Rather, we celebrate the superior ability of art to motivate, inspire, and build bridges of communication between different cultures.

Her Highness pointed out that the “Spirit of Culture” is a true embodiment of our vision to promote Emirati culture in all its dimensions, and it is also an invitation to the artistic and creative community to celebrate a bright future full of innovation and insight.

One of the most prominent participants in the exhibition is the visual artist Mohammed Al-Astad Al-Hammadi, Vice President of the Emirates Fine Arts Society, who participates in two artistic works under the title “The Spirit of Colors.” He pointed out that the exhibition includes contemporary abstract works through which colors are unleashed and the harmony between them reflects realism and spaciousness. In sight, thought, and communication with nature in all comfort.

The artist Ahmed Al Mahri will also participate with a painting inspired by one of the poems of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, and the painting “Kahilan”, which is a mixture of cursive letters drawn in a way that represents the poem and expresses its components.

In turn, visual artist Fares Al Hammadi praised the level of the exhibition and the participating works that reflect the environment and Emirati heritage.

Also participating in the exhibition are: Alia Al-Mansouri, Souad Al-Zaabi, Mona Al-Khaja, Saqqaf Al-Saqqaf, Rawa Al-Madani, Widad Al-Kindi, Munira Al-Abadi, Shamma Al-Amiri, and Zainab Al-Hashimi.

Khawla Art and Culture confirmed that the “Spirit of Culture” exhibition is a celebration of identity, creativity, and the ability of art to inspire and communicate, calling for joining this exceptional experience of artistic excellence, where every brushstroke, every sculptural masterpiece, and every design work tells a unique story that carries within it.
