Balotelli scores and keeps Al-Ettifaq away from the relegation positions

Al Dhaid team regained its victorious tone, after achieving a valuable victory over its guest, City, with an unanswered goal, in the match that brought them together yesterday evening in the 24th round of the First Division League.
With this victory, Al Dhaid revived its chances of competing for one of the two promotion tickets to the professional league, raising its score to 41 points in third place, while City’s score froze at 22 points in tenth place.
Moroccan Adnan Al-Wardi scored the only goal of the match in the 58th minute, confirming his team’s superiority in direct confrontations after winning the first leg by the same score (1-0).
In another match, Al-Ettifaq achieved an important victory over its guest, Al-Jazira Al-Hamra, with a score of (2-1), in the match that was held at Shabab Al-Ahli Club Stadium in the Al-Awir area in Dubai.
With this victory, Al-Ittifaq left the relegation positions, advancing to 12th place with 19 points, while Al-Jazira Al-Hamra fell to 14th place with 17 points.
The two goals of Al-Ettifaq were scored by the Italian Mario Balotelli in the 24th minute, and his compatriot Jacopo da Riva in the 32nd minute, while the Italian Reda Hanawi scored the goal for Al-Jazira Al-Hamra in the 10th minute.
This victory represents a rehabilitation for the Al-Ettifaq team after its heavy loss in the first leg, and it also gave it a great morale boost by getting out of the relegation cycle.
For its part, Al Hamriya achieved an exciting victory over its guest, Majd, with a score of (3-2) in the match that was held at Al Hamriya Stadium, raising its score to 26 points in ninth place, while Majd remained in last place with 14 points.
The goals of Al Hamriyah were scored by Slovenian Haris Vukic (26), Brazilian Diogo da Silva (81), and Congolese Brani Kabala (90), while Majd Ali Eid Al Yahyai (42) and Abdul Rahman Bani Zama (62) scored for the team.
Al-Hamriyah also strengthened its superiority over its competitor after defeating it in the first leg (2-1).
The round matches will be completed this evening with four matches, as Al Orouba will meet Al Fujairah, Masfoot will meet Dibba Al Hisn, Al Arabi will meet Hatta, and Gulf United will meet Emirates.
