China’s automobile production rose 11.1% in November

Data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers showed that during the first 11 months of this year, the volume of car production exceeded 27.9 million units, an increase of 2.9 percent year-on-year, while sales volume expanded by 3.7 percent to reach 27.94 million units.

The data indicated, according to the Chinese “Xinhua” agency, that the volume of production of new energy vehicles increased by 45.8 percent on an annual basis, reaching approximately 1.57 million units last November, while its sales volume increased by 47.7 percent, reaching 1.51 million units. , which represents 45.6 percent of total new car sales in the country in the same period.

Replacement of old cars with new ones in China this year exceeded 5 million units, as part of a large-scale renewal program launched early this year, the Ministry of Commerce reported on Tuesday.

Consumers who replace their old car with new energy vehicles can receive a subsidy of 20,000 yuan (about $2,781), while those who choose new fossil fuel cars will receive 15,000 yuan.
