المملكة: The Minister of Health launches infrastructure and health development projects in Al-Ula
The projects that were launched included the project to replace the infrastructure of Prince Abdul Mohsen Hospital, the Ashar Center for Urgent Care, and the Skhirat Primary Care Center, after completing all the necessary infrastructure works and technical equipment.
During his visit, the Minister of Health toured a field tour that included the intensive care, radiology, and emergency departments at Prince Abdul Mohsen Hospital. The tour also included inspection visits to the Ashar Center for Urgent Care and the Skhirat and Manshiya Primary Care Centers.
Strengthening health services
These projects come as part of the efforts aimed at strengthening health services in Al-Ula Governorate and its surrounding areas, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, as these projects are distinguished by the fact that they contain the latest medical equipment and technologies.
In addition to providing a specialized medical team that provides integrated services including emergency, specialized clinics, surgical departments, and intensive care, with the aim of meeting the needs of residents, residents, and tourists in the region.
In another context, His Excellency the Minister of Health reviewed the housing development project for Prince Abdul Mohsen Hospital, including the display villa and residential units designated to provide an integrated work environment for health personnel working within the Al-Ula Health Area.
In a speech on this occasion, His Excellency the Minister of Health expressed his gratitude to the wise leadership for the continued support for the health sector.
He pointed out that “these projects reflect the Kingdom’s commitment to developing health infrastructure and providing advanced and comprehensive medical services to the community, and we are committed to continuing our efforts to achieve more health achievements in a way that serves the aspirations of citizens and residents, and supports the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.”

Advanced medical services
His Excellency the Minister of Health thanked all the cadres who contributed to the implementation of these projects, stressing the continuation of work to provide quality health services in all regions of the Kingdom.
This visit highlights the Kingdom’s achievements in the field of health education and development of national competencies, as the Saudi Board has graduated, twenty years ago, more than 30,000 health professionals, with noticeable increases in the number of graduates recently.
The Class of 2024 is the largest in the history of the Saudi Board, which included more than 13,000 health professionals from 170 specialties, who were trained in 700 centers throughout the Kingdom.
In light of the global challenges related to the shortage of health personnel, the Kingdom continues its investments in training health professionals and providing innovative solutions to enhance the quality of health care at the local and global levels, as this visit confirms the Ministry of Health’s continued commitment to developing a comprehensive and innovative health system that enhances the well-being of society and reflects the goals of the Kingdom’s vision. 2030 aimed at improving the quality of life and providing integrated health care for all.
