المملكة: Holding the first major horse races for the Crown Prince Cups under the patronage of His Highness

On this occasion, His Royal Highness Prince Bandar bin Khalid bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Equestrian Authority and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Horse Racing Club, extended the highest expressions of thanks and gratitude to His Highness the Crown Prince, for his continuous and permanent sponsorship of this large and anticipated annual event.
He pointed out that His Highness’s sponsorship of the grand ceremony is a great honor for the equestrian community, in addition to the great support given by His Highness to equestrian sports in general, and horse racing in particular.
The highest international standards
His Highness stated that the two Cups of His Highness the Crown Prince are held in accordance with the highest international standards associated with international systems in proportion to the size and strength of these two cups, with the aim of consolidating their name and outcomes globally, as the 11th round cup was allocated to the local production category and classified in the first category, and in parallel the 11th round is held. 12 for the open grade category.
It will combine the production of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with horses produced internationally, and it has an international classification and a place on the map of classified races.
His Highness promised that the Crown Prince Cups are among the most prominent cups organized by the Horse Racing Club.
He said: “We are honored to have a cup bearing this name that is dear to us, and it is considered important in the map of major category cups for Saudi horse racing, and its impact extends at the regional and international levels.”
Continuous support from wise leadership
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Horse Racing Club confirmed that the continuous support from the wise leadership – may God support it – has fundamentally contributed to the great success witnessed by Saudi equestrianism.
He noted the support of His Highness the Crown Prince for the development steps witnessed by horse racing at this stage, and the position the Kingdom has reached on the international horse racing map, in addition to the strategy that the club is following in the next stage, to show the true image of Saudi horse racing globally in accordance with aspirations.
His Highness stated that the Cups of His Highness the Crown Prince are held in accordance with the highest international standards associated with international regulations, in proportion to the size and strength of these two cups, with the aim of consolidating their name and outcomes globally.
Local production category classified as first category
The 11th round cup was allocated to the category of local production and those classified in the first category, and in parallel the 12th round will be held for the open-grade category, which will combine the production of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with horses produced internationally, and has an international classification and a place on the map of classified races.
The CEO of the Horse Racing Club, Ziyad Al-Muqrin, said: “The evening of the Cup Race of His Highness the Crown Prince is an important and great occasion in many ways, the first of which is that it bears a name dear to everyone.
He stated that it is held in accordance with the highest international standards and regulations, stressing that the support from the wise leadership has contributed – fundamentally – to the great success witnessed by horse racing in the Kingdom.
