المملكة: “Education” launches “vocational” and “future” schools with the start of the new academic year

The Ministry of Education is launching two new models of schools, “Vocational Secondary School” and “Future Secondary School,” at the beginning of the next academic year.

Providing labor market skills

This step aims to develop the educational process, keep pace with the needs of the accelerating labor market, and provide students with the necessary skills for a promising future.
The “vocational schools” aim to bring about a qualitative shift in the field of technical and vocational training, by creating a new model for technical institutes targeting middle school graduates.

The role of future institutes and schools

These institutes offer a specialized technical training path that focuses on the skills required by the labor market, equal in number of semesters and years to general education schools, and integrated with them by designing a new model for technical institutes for boys and girls.
As for “Future Schools,” it aims to provide a comprehensive and advanced methodology in learning methods, integrating specific categories of students, starting from densely populated areas, before expanding on a larger scale, and measuring learning outcomes, with the aim of applying the lessons learned in the public education system.
This initiative comes within the framework of the Ministry of Education’s continuing efforts to develop the educational system and achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in building a knowledge economy based on innovation and creativity, so that graduates of these schools will be future leaders in various fields.
