Umm Al-Qura University – College of Judicial Studies and Regulations granted a doctorate degree in law to the researcher, lawyer Rabab Al-Moabi, after she successfully passed all the requirements of the program. The degree was awarded to her after discussing her doctoral thesis entitled “Intellectual Property Rights for Translated Works,” which dealt with an important topic in the field of property rights. The intellectual discussion committee was formed from professors: Dr. Saud bin Hamoud Al Harithi – Rapporteur, Dr. Faisal bin Mansour Al-Fadil – external discussant, Prof. Dr. Jalal Al-Din Banga Ahmed Bashir – internal discussant, Dr. Ali bin Youssef Al-Zahrani – internal debater. Lawyer Rabab Al-Moabi is considered one of the prominent names in the legal community, as she has effectively contributed to several human rights and social issues.
Rabab expressed her deep happiness with this achievement, praising the support of her family and teachers throughout her studies. She also stressed the importance of scientific research in developing laws and promoting justice in society.
