Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan announces the details of the third session of the exhibition "chandelier"
Abu Dhabi, December 18 / WAM / Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Cultural and Educational Institutions, and Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Thuraya Platform, confirmed that the third edition of the “Platform” continues to enhance national gains and provide an experience Exceptional, combining originality and modernity in the world of fashion and design and highlighting the capabilities of designers who represent a driving force in the fields of design, art and innovation. Emirati designers have a platform to express their creativity and highlight their talents in various fields.
This came during her speech to announce the third session of the “Thuraya” exhibition, which will be held from January 26 to 30 next in the Marina Hall at ADNEC Center Abu Dhabi, with the participation of about 190 exhibitors from inside and outside the country.
Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan said that the UAE is moving, under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, towards a new phase of growth and prosperity, driven by a strong determination towards global leadership, and it adheres to its identity. Patriotism, which has its roots in the depths of history, presents moral and societal values that enhance the values of human civilization, and which generations draw from, so that their abilities to integrate the ancient cultural heritage with modern innovation are enhanced. This allows them to provide unique and distinctive designs that reflect the Emirati national identity in a modern and renewed manner.
She added that the Thuraya Exhibition is a platform that tells the story of the Emirati person who innovated, created, and crafted a story of challenge, creativity, and prosperity, reminding us that Abu Dhabi today embraces the entire world, and that through this platform we contribute to establishing new standards in the design industry. These initiatives support strengthening the UAE’s position as a global center for innovation and creativity, and show the world the exceptional skills possessed by Emirati designers that contribute to shaping the future of design.
