Loyalty of both parties

Member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and founder of food trucks in Bahrain, Muhammad Al-Ruwaimi, explained that the average cost of preparing one food truck (food truck) is 2,000 dinars, while its monthly income ranges from 100 to 1,500 dinars, indicating the ability of the food truck sector to contribute to the national economy.

Al-Ruwaimi told Al-Watan: “Food trucks enjoy strong competition in providing various options to consumers, by offering food or drinks, which are among the preferred options in Bahrain, which creates an atmosphere of competition among cart owners, as they compete to provide food.” Which meets the needs and desires of the users of these vehicles.

Regarding the government support provided to this sector, Al Ruwaimi expressed his thanks to the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the interest and care it gives to youth projects, especially in the field of food trucks, noting the support of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and His Highness’s directives to facilitate all obstacles that food cart owners may face, which contributed to the development of this sector.

He stressed the importance of allocating locations for food trucks in various regions of Bahrain by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture, and equipping them with all necessary services and facilities.

He also called for increasing the number of visas granted to vehicle owners, so that at least 3 work visas are allowed to be issued for each vehicle, with the aim of providing the necessary assistance to operate it.

Bahrain has recently witnessed a noticeable increase in the demand for food trucks, as they have become a new and qualitative addition to the local economic market, in addition to encouraging productive families and creative youth to innovate and participate in the labor market.
