Salem Al Qasimi: International camps hone the experiences of national team players

Dubai, December 19 / WAM / Engineer Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, President of the Arab, Asian and Emirati Fencing Federations, confirmed that the joint international camps would hone the experiences of the national team’s male and female players and prepare them technically for upcoming foreign participations at all regional, continental and global levels.
This came on the sidelines of his visit to the joint UAE fencing team camp with his Kazakh counterpart, which concluded yesterday, Wednesday, with the holding of a training tournament after a week of joint training at the Al-Mizhar gym in Dubai, with the participation of the two teams’ players in the three weapons, and under the supervision of a group of international coaches from both sides.
He said that the goal of the joint international camps is to combine the advantages of the training camp and international competitions, which contributes to developing the level of players.
