The branch of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in the Tabuk region announced that it has raised its readiness in preparation for the weather expected in the region.
This coincides with the rain situation report issued by the competent authorities, and as part of the authority’s efforts to keep pace with the changing climatic conditions that the region may witness in the coming days, to provide high-quality medical and emergency services.
In order to ensure the safety of the region’s residents and visitors.

Readiness of the command and control center

The Director General of the authority’s branch in the Tabuk region, Nawaf bin Mayah Al-Anazi, confirmed the readiness of the command and control center.
In addition to 27 ambulance teams, air ambulance, rapid response teams, specific response teams, and volunteer ambulance teams.
This is according to the region’s weather plan, to provide medical and emergency services in various climatic conditions and around the clock.

He called on all citizens and residents to follow the instructions issued by the competent authorities, take caution, and adhere to traffic safety rules to maintain their safety from accidents, especially when it rains.
He also advised driving with caution on highways, staying away from dangerous places, such as flood drains and rain accumulations, not gathering around accidents, and making room for emergency teams to provide the best medical service to those in need.

Al-Enezi stressed the need to make way for emergency teams to provide the best medical service to those in need, and not to hesitate to request emergency service when there is an emergency by calling 997.
Or by requesting an ambulance service through the “Help Me” application, or a distress call from the “Tawakkalna” application, which saves a lot of time and effort, especially as it determines the caller’s location with high accuracy, which facilitates the process of the ambulance team reaching the location of the report.

In its report on the weather conditions in the Kingdom’s regions, the National Center of Meteorology expected that the weather would be cold to very cold in parts of the north of the Kingdom.
