Our national team faces its Kuwaiti counterpart tomorrow"Gulf 26"

Kuwait, December 23 / WAM / Our first national football team will meet its Kuwaiti counterpart tomorrow in the second round of group stage matches within the first group of the Arabian Gulf Football Cup.
Our national team began its tournament with a 1-1 draw against its Qatari counterpart, and is looking forward to collecting the three points tomorrow in its quest to reach the second round of the tournament.
Victory in the second round constitutes a goal for the four teams in the first group, to enhance the chances of passing to the semi-finals.
Our national team players prepared to face the Kuwaiti team with two training sessions at the Yarmouk Club Stadium. The first came only 24 hours after the first match, with recovery and light training, while the second training today includes putting the last technical touches by the technical staff.
On the other hand, the Kuwaiti team will go into tomorrow’s match with ambitions to compete for the three points after a 1-1 draw in the first round with its Omani counterpart, and it conducted several training sessions at Thamer Stadium in preparation for the match.
The Kuwaiti national team players suffered from some injuries that they suffered in the first round against Oman, including Hassan Hamdan, who will be absent from tomorrow’s match, according to confirmations from Dr. Abdul Majeed Al-Bannai, Director of the Medical Department of the Kuwait Football Association, while he indicated the possibility of his colleague Reda Hani participating after the treatment he underwent. He suffered an injury to the shoulder joint, in addition to other minor injuries to some players, ranging from bruises to minor strains, which will not affect their participation tomorrow.
