The country is affected by a depression and cold air masses… and chances of rain today

The National Center of Meteorology expected today’s weather to be partly cloudy to cloudy at times in some northern, coastal and eastern regions, with a chance of rain, and humid at night and tomorrow morning in some interior regions, while several areas in the capital, Abu Dhabi, yesterday witnessed moderate to light rain.

The center stated in its statement that the areas of Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Street, the Corniche, and Al Maqta recorded light to moderate rain, while the areas of Al Mushrif, Airport Road, Khalifa City, Al Nouf, Al Qurum Street, and Sheikh Khalifa Street in the direction of Zayed Port, Al Rawdah, and Al Bateen Airport recorded Light rain, and the center explained regarding today’s weather condition that the winds will be light to moderate in speed and active at times, and their movement is north-southwesterly-northwesterly, and their speed ranges from 10 to 25 and up to 40 km/hour. He pointed out that the waves in the Arabian Gulf are moderate to light, and the first tide occurs at 08:28, the second tide at 17:56, the first low tide at 15:02, and the second low tide at 01:08.

As for the Sea of ​​Oman, the waves will be light, with the first tide occurring at 18:11, the second tide at 04:19, the first low tide at 11:28, and the second high tide at 21:21.

He confirmed that the country will continue to be affected by an extension of a surface depression from the southeast, coinciding with the extension of a depression in the upper layers of the atmosphere, accompanied by a cold air mass and an upper air current from the west, which leads to the development of cumulonimbus clouds in some areas.
