Indian companies top the list of new members of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce within 9 months

Dubai, December 24 / WAM / A recent analysis by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three chambers operating under the umbrella of the Dubai Chambers, revealed that Indian investors continued to top the list of nationalities of new non-Emirati companies joining the chamber during the first nine months of this year, with 21,000 and 142 new companies, which reflects Dubai’s attractiveness to investors and businessmen of Indian nationality.
Pakistan came in second place with 6,061 new companies in the first nine months of this year, while Egypt came in third place, with the number of new Egyptian companies registered as members of the chamber reaching 3,611 companies.
The number of new Syrian companies that joined the Chamber’s membership in the first nine months of this year reached 2,062 companies, making it ranked fourth in the list of nationalities of new companies joining the Chamber’s membership during this period.
The United Kingdom ranked fifth, with the number of new companies reaching 1,886, while new Bangladeshi companies ranked sixth, with 1,669 new companies joining the chamber’s membership in the first nine months of the current year.
Iraq came in seventh place in the list of the highest nationalities of new companies joining the Chamber, with 1,346 new companies joining in the first nine months, while Chinese companies came in eighth place on the list with 1,109 new companies joining the Chamber’s membership.
Jordanian companies came in ninth place on the list, as 1,069 new Jordanian companies were registered as members of the Chamber during this period, while Sudan came in tenth place, with 1,007 new companies joining Chamber membership in the first nine months of the current year.
In terms of the sectoral distribution of new companies joining the Dubai Chamber of Commerce in the first nine months of this year, the trade and services sector ranked first, accounting for 41.5% of the total new companies joining the Chamber’s membership during this period, while the real estate, leasing, and business services sector ranked second. accounting for 33.3% of the total companies, followed by the construction sector in third place with 10.4% of the total, and the transportation, storage and communications sector came in fourth place accounting for 8.6% of the total new companies, while the social and personal services sector came fifth with 6.8%.
