Ministry of Economy.. Media briefing on pricing policies for basic consumer goods

Today, the Ministry of Economy held a media briefing on pricing policies for basic consumer goods in the country.

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy, Abdullah Al Saleh, said that the commodity pricing policy includes nine basic food products, the most prominent of which are edible oils, poultry, and rice.

Al Saleh stressed that any price increase on basic commodities will be prevented without prior approvals from the competent authorities.
