The Grand Mosque receives its visitors daily in a spiritual atmosphere full of tranquility, as the Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques makes great efforts to perfume its sides using the finest types of perfume and oud, to enhance the spirituality of the place and enrich the experience of worshipers and sects.

As part of this extreme care, the Black Stone, Al-Multazam, and the Yamani Rukn are perfumed five times a day, using the finest types of oud oil and amber.
This process is done before each prayer, which gives visitors and worshipers a feeling of freshness and comfort while performing their rituals.

Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques Affairs

More than 500 grams of the finest types of oud are also fumigated throughout the Grand Mosque every day, used during 10 to 20 continuous rounds, extending throughout the day to ensure that the fragrant atmosphere remains in every corner of the mosque.
