The Film Commission organizes a workshop on film production and direction in Riyadh

The Film Commission announced the organization of an in-person workshop entitled “Behind the Scenes of Film Production and Direction” on Monday, January 6, 2025 in Riyadh.
The workshop sheds light on the role of the director as the creative force behind the success of the film, with a focus on the relationship between the director, the actor, and the text to present an integrated cinematic work.

Film directing

The workshop is led by award-nominated English film director and actor Dexter Fletcher BAFTA He has a career spanning more than fifty years.

The workshop’s topics include the journey from acting to directing, techniques for directing influential performances, the balance between independent cinema and large-scale productions, and storytelling methods that touch the audience and reflect the essence of the film.
The workshop lasts for two to three hours in English and targets 200 participants. This workshop is a unique opportunity for those interested in the film industry to gain direct expertise and experience from one of the most prominent names in the field of film directing.
