Completion of the first version of the program "Gulf bridges"

Sharjah, December 29 / WAM / The first session of “Gulf Bridges – The Gulf Program for Youth Leadership” was concluded, which was organized by Sharjah Youth and Sajaya Sharjah Girls, affiliated with the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, under the generous patronage of the wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed. Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Yasi, Director of the Sharjah Youth Foundation, and Sheikha Al Shamsi, Director of the Sajaya Girls Foundation of Sharjah, honored the entities supporting the Gulf Bridges Program in its first session, represented by the Department of Agriculture and Livestock in Sharjah, the Sharjah Police General Command, and Sharjah Airport, in addition to honoring the heads and members of the participating delegations. In the program.
One of the most prominent activities of the program, which concluded the day before yesterday, was the participants’ visit to a wheat farm in the Maliha area, where they learned about the most important development projects of the Emirate of Sharjah, which reflects its vision of achieving a food security system and supporting sustainable agriculture.
During the visit, the participants were briefed by Dr. Engineer Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Livestock and CEO of the Sharjah Agricultural and Animal Production Foundation “IKTVA”, about the most important challenges facing food security projects in the Emirate of Sharjah and how to overcome them.
He reviewed Sharjah’s research experience in the wheat hybridization program, which is the first of its kind in the UAE, through the biotechnology laboratories of the Mleiha wheat farm.
Dr. Al Taniji explained that the Sharjah Food Security System has adopted a proactive methodology in employing artificial intelligence solutions in its projects to crown its efforts with a sign of readiness for the future through the application of sustainable agricultural practices, pointing to the establishment of the Mleiha dairy farm that produces Mleiha organic milk, in addition to the current work on establishing bird farms. Flea”, which relies on free education, stressing that Sharjah is replete with a natural environment that reflects its rich natural resources.
The program also included a package of interactive workshops that contributed to providing a rich experience for the participants, as Dr. Hana Namankani, assistant professor and trainer in self-development, presented a specialized workshop entitled “The Journey of Self-Awareness,” in addition to a creative workshop that was organized in the open nature of Sharjah Safari under the title “Skills.” Personality and team building” and presented by trainer Ashwaq Ahmed Bu Ali, leadership, motivation and potential unlocking consultant.
