Emirati, Kuwaiti and Iraqi victories ignite the struggle for leadership in aircraft "Arabic ladies" 2026

Sharjah, February 7, 2026: The excitement and excitement continued yesterday in the second round of volleyball competitions, within the eighth edition of the Arab Women’s Club Games 2026. It witnessed Emirati, Kuwaiti and Iraqi victories after the Sharjah Women’s Sports Club won the UAE summit against Al-Wasl, the Kuwaiti Al-Fatat defeated the Syrian Taldara, and the Iraqi Akad Ankawa achieved an important victory over the Lebanese Shabib Al-Bouchrieh.

The results led to an early outbreak of conflict at the top of the standings after “Al-Sharjah Women’s Sports Club” and “Al-Fatat Al-Kuwaiti” collected the full score in the first two rounds with 6 points each, three points ahead of both “Acad Ankawa” of Iraq and “Al-Wasl” of the Emirates, while “Shabiba Al-Bouchrieh” of Lebanon and “Tal Dorra” of Syria are still devoid of points.

In the first match, the “Acad Ankawa” team overturned a game deficit against “Chabab Bouchria” to a deserved victory with a score of (3-1) in a strong confrontation that extended for more than two hours.

In the second match, “Al-Fata” continued its strong start, achieving its second victory in a row, defeating “Tildra” in three games to no avail (3-0) in a match during which the Kuwaiti team imposed its technical advantage from the beginning.

As for the summit of the round that brought together “Sharjah Women’s Sports” and “Al-Wasl”, it was full of excitement at the technical and public levels, and Sharjah Women succeeded in winning it in three games to no avail (3-0) thanks to high concentration, strong defensive organization, and offensive effectiveness at the net and from the back line.

It is noteworthy that the Games for Arab Women’s Clubs in the Emirate of Sharjah will be organized by the Sharjah Women’s Sports Foundation until February 12, with the participation of 65 teams from 16 Arab countries competing in 9 individual and team games.
