Closing of the Sharjah Scout Theater Festival
Sharjah, December 29 / WAM / The activities of the twelfth session of the Sharjah Scout Theater Festival concluded yesterday evening, which is held annually under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and organized by the Sharjah Department of Culture in cooperation with the Sharjah Scouts Commission and at its headquarters. .
The closing day was attended by Abdullah Al Owais, Head of the Department of Culture and Chairman of the Festival, Ahmed Burahima, Director of the Theater Department in the Department and Director of the Festival, and Major General Abdullah Saeed Al Suwaidi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Scouts Commission, and included academic activities from the Universities of Sharjah and Al Qasimia.
The second day witnessed the presentation of four shows, the first of which was titled “Prolongation” by the University of Sharjah Roving Group, the second was “Faces of Shadows” by the Al Qasimia University Roving Group, the third show was titled “Greed” by the Sharjah Scouts Roving Group (B), while the fourth show was titled “Star.” “For the Sharjah Scouts Mobile Group (A).
The University of Sharjah Scouts won the Best University Performance Award, while the Al Qasimia University Scouts Rangers won the Best Band Award.
In the individual awards for the second day, Al Qasimia University Mobile won the award for the best idea for its show “Faces of Shadows,” and the play “Tatil” won the award for the best treatment of the idea, while Abdullah Al-Shassani won the award for best nails for his role in “Faces of Shadows.” Adam Muhammad also won the award Best Actor for his role in “Tatil”, and the award was shared with Khaled Mohamed Bilal for his role in “Faces of Shadows”, and Youssef Saeed for his role in “Greed”, and Rassam Ali for his role in “Tatil”.
The jury included Dr. Muhammad Youssef, Magdy Mahfouz, and Yahya Al-Badri.
