South Korea: The black boxes of the ill-fated plane were recovered

The South Korean Ministry of Transport announced on Sunday that the flight data recorder had been recovered from the wreckage of the ill-fated plane that crashed at Muan Airport. The International Airport in South Korea, which claimed the lives of more than 170 people.

For his part, a senior official with the South Korean Ministry of Transport stated that the airport runway will remain Closed until the first day of the New Year.
The ill-fated plane was carrying 175 passengers and 6 crew members when it took off from Bangkok and made an emergency landing at around nine in the morning, local time, at Muan Airport. International.
Officials believe that a failure in the landing gear – perhaps due to a collision with birds – is the reason behind the accident.
