Air Canada spokesman Peter Fitzpatrick said that a Bombardier Q400 plane had a problem with its landing gear after its arrival.
He explained that the plane was unable to reach the terminal and the crew and 73 passengers were transported by bus.

Fitzpatrick added that no one on board was injured, but a spokesman for the Nova Scotia Royal Canadian Mounted Police, which responded to the incident alongside paramedics, said minor injuries were reported.

Suspension of flight operations

Chase noted that flight operations were suspended after the accident pending permission to continue airport operations.
One of the airport’s runways has since resumed normal operations, and the cause of the accident is not yet clear, pending an investigation.
