The Head of State receives Khalid bin Salman

Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Defense of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia… in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State. Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Office.

During the meeting that took place at Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi, His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and President. The Kingdom’s Council of Ministers, to His Highness the President of the State and their wishes for the UAE’s continued progress and prosperity… while His Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman conveyed his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. His Crown Prince wishes the Kingdom continued progress and prosperity under its wise leadership.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman discussed the established fraternal relations between the two countries and the paths of their cooperation in all fields in a way that supports their common interests and achieves the aspirations of their peoples towards development and prosperity.

The meeting also discussed developments in the situation in the Middle East region, regional and international issues of concern to both countries, and the importance of strengthening efforts to maintain the security, peace and stability of the region.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the State, Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council, and Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Head of the Office of the President of the State for Strategic Affairs, Head of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office.
