"together" and"Hub 71" Promote entrepreneurship in the field of social technology

ABU DHABI, 31st December / WAM / The Community Contributions Authority – Together, signed a memorandum of understanding with “Hub 71”, the global technology ecosystem in Abu Dhabi, with the aim of supporting the entrepreneurship system in the field of social technology, and achieving a lasting social impact in the emirate.

Under the memorandum, “Ma’an” provides regulatory support, resources, guidance and opportunities to social startups registered in Hub 71, in addition to supporting social companies by providing incentives such as the “Certificate of Classification of Companies with a Social Purpose”, which is the first government accreditation of its kind for companies with a social purpose. This certificate honors the contributions of startups in developing sustainable solutions to social priorities and enhancing community well-being.

This partnership also allows emerging social companies to participate in the “Hub 71” company building program, which provides support to startups seeking to strengthen their presence in Abu Dhabi and expand globally, starting from the pre-seed stage through to the financing round.

This program allows companies to benefit from in-kind and cash incentives, in addition to accessing a wide network of partners from institutions, governments and investors.

Together and Hub 71 will explore ways to develop and publish joint reports on the social technology ecosystem in Abu Dhabi to assess the current state of the landscape and identify key players and the availability of funding and regulatory environments, providing valuable insights to stakeholders.
