The Bahraini national team defeats its Kuwaiti counterpart and qualifies for the Gulf Cup final

Kuwait, December 31 / WAM / The Bahraini national team qualified for the final of the Arabian Gulf Football Cup, “Khaleeji Zain 26”, following a 1-0 victory this evening at the expense of its Kuwaiti counterpart, “host of the tournament,” in the semi-finals.

In front of 60,122 fans at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, player Mohamed Marhoon led his country to the final match by scoring the only goal of the match, “Q75”.

The Bahraini national team players completed the match with ten players after the referee showed the red card to player Mahdi Abdul-Jabbar (Q52).

The Bahraini national team will face its Omani counterpart in the final match next Saturday at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium.
