Today, the Dubai Land Department launched the all-new Smart Rental Index, which determines the rental value based on the building, not the area.

The department indicated that the new index is based on the building classification project, which the department has been working on for a long time and includes a large number of determinants that classify the building according to these standards.

This aims to develop the real estate sector and enhance trust and transparency among owners, tenants and investors, in a qualitative step that confirms Dubai’s commitment to leadership in the fields of technology and innovation.
