المملكة: Submitting to customs far from God’s guidance is a source of deviation

The eminent imam and preacher of the Grand Mosque, Sheikh Dr., said: Osama bin Abdullah Khayyat, there are almost countless images in the world of reality of preserving branches and wasting assets.
You see among the people those who strive to perform various ritual offerings day and night, but they combine that with something that frustrates their work, when they associate with God another person by supplicating, seeking help, asking for help, slaughtering, vowing, or devoting any kind of worship to someone other than God, and when a priest or fortune teller comes and asks him and confirms him.
He emphasized that God made it clear in his book that the consequence of this polytheism is major polytheism, which is the futility and corruption of the work, the prohibition of Paradise for its doer, and making his abode Hell.

Deviation medicine

There is no more in Sahih al-Sunnah regarding the Prophet’s statement, as Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, narrated on the authority of the Prophet: “Whoever goes to a fortune teller or a soothsayer and believes what he says has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad.”
He pointed out that there are people who lose their limits and neglect to act according to what God has revealed in the Holy Qur’an, and among them are those who do not fear backbiting, gossiping, or false speech.
He emphasized that the source of deviation, represented by wasting the fundamentals and preserving the branches, is submission to customs and customs away from the lights of the two revelations, following desires without guidance from God, ignorance of the religion of God, lack of adviser, and scarcity of helper, and he explained that the cure for all of this is through knowledge and work.
