The lyricist Abeer Al-Razzaz, one of the most prominent Arab song makers, died, and her body was held after Friday prayers from the Al-Rahman Al-Rahim Mosque in Salah Salem.
The poet Salah Attia mourned her on his Facebook account, saying: “May God live, our dear colleague, the poet Abeer Al-Razzaz. Please pray for mercy on her on Good Friday.”
Abeer Al-Razzaz is one of the most prominent lyric poets in the Arab world, as she collaborated with major artists and wrote many songs that achieved great success. Among her most famous works are the songs “Salaf wa Din” and “Farewell Day” by George Wassouf, “Oh Forgot Your Promise” by Amr Diab, “If You Remember” by Fadel Shaker, “With a Word We Reconcile” by Tamer Hosni, in addition to the song “In the First” by Mohamed Mohy. .
Her last appearance was at a ceremony honoring the late composer Mohamed Rahim at the Cairo Opera House.
