المملكة: 7 violators were arrested for smuggling 140 kilograms of qat in Asir

The border guards’ ground patrols in the Rabwa sector in the Asir region arrested (7) violators of the border security system of Ethiopian nationality, for smuggling (140) kilograms of the qat plant. The initial legal procedures were completed against them, and they and the seized items were handed over to the competent authority.
The security authorities are called upon to report all information available to citizens and residents about any activities related to drug smuggling or drug promotion, by calling the numbers (911) in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Riyadh, and Al-Sharqiyah, and (999) in the rest of the regions of the Kingdom, and the General Directorate’s reports number.
