Tailoring shop owners: The cold increases the demand for winter clothes by 70%

Men’s tailoring shop owners confirmed that the cold weather during the recent period increased the demand for tailored winter clothing for men by up to 70%. Pointing out that prices vary according to the type and quality of the fabric, while citizens said that they began to tailor winter clothes in light of the cold wave during the recent period, noting that the distinctive colors this year are few, namely striped and striped. Maria Al-Hashemi, from the dearest men’s seamstress, said: “No There is no doubt that the winter season is one of the seasons in which demand for tailored men’s clothing rises, in addition to the two Eid seasons. Our stores have witnessed in the recent period an increase in demand by 70%. Most men wear winter clothes, except in rare cases.” Regarding the prices of clothes, Al-Hashemi said: Our prices start from 16 dinars, and the price of the fabric depends on its type and quality, in addition to the degree of demand for it. As for Muhammad Al-Qaseer, from Al-Qaseer tailoring, he said: “Our stores have witnessed a high rate of demand for tailoring men’s winter clothing.” In the past few days, this is expected, because winter is considered one of the seasons in Bahrain, despite its short duration. He added: “Detailing winter clothes takes us 5 days.” For regular orders, as for urgent orders, the clothes are prepared on the same day, and the prices start from 20 dinars and reach 40 dinars, depending on the quality of the fabric.” As for the citizen Hassan Abdul Rasoul, he stated in his interview with “Al-Watan” that he went to tailoring shops this year and separated a group Of winter clothes, in addition to spring clothes that are worn in cold and temperate climates, but they are not suitable for summer climates. He said: “What is distinctive about The winter colors this year are striped, striped, and English plaid, but the available options remain limited, because most importers provide limited services, and some of them are content with last year’s goods.” As for the citizen, Abbas Muhammad, he mentioned in his interview that he had detailed a set of winter clothes. For him and his three children, in order to avoid the severe cold wave that struck Bahrain during the recent period.
